VFM Leonardo to Power Visual Content Management and Distribution for IHG’s Hotel Brands
InterContinental Hotels Group integrates VScape digital asset management and distribution functionality into its Hotel Content Management (HCM) system to ensure accurate, consistent hotel visual content online

ATLANTA, GA and TORONTO, ON | VFM Leonardo, the leader in online visual content distribution for hotels and IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), [LON: IHG, NYSE:IHG (ADRs)], the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, have extended their partnership to implement a customized solution for the management and distribution of hotel visual content. IHG chose the Enterprise edition of VFM Leonardo’s VScape® Digital Asset Management System for integration with their fully branded, proprietary HCM (Hotel Content Management) system.

HCM will be used by 4,200 hotels across IHG’s seven brands, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites to efficiently manage and distribute visual content (photos, virtual tours and videos). All the hotel specific still and rich media content displayed on the IHG websites and channels in VFM Leonardo’s VNetwork - the largest online visual content distribution network for the global travel industry, will be maintained using the HCM’s back-end VScape functionality.

“Providing an easy, cost-effective way to manage and distribute visual content for thousands of hotels is an absolute must,” said Bryson Koehler, IHG’s Vice President of Revenue & Guest Technology. “Our HCM system with integrated digital asset management functionality ensures that our hotels and brands are presented consistently on all electronic distribution channels including all 4 Global Distribution Systems, Pegasus, IHG brand websites and thousands of travel sites on VFM Leonardo’s VNetwork.”

“We are very pleased to have been selected by IHG to provide a solution that ensures their well-recognized and respected hotel brands and individual properties are presented consistently online - with accurate visual content on their own websites and thousands of additional travel sites, all the time,” said Paolo Boni, President and CEO of VFM Leonardo.
